That would be pretty neat.
First half was informative. Entertaining, even.
Say man, while I’m here: is there still such a thing as Punchline nowadays, do you know? Chulip came out in Japan like 6 years ago, and Rule Of Rose not long after, and since then nothing… I know Kimura is working on Little King’s Story, which I’m pretty jazzed about, but yeah, is Punchline still going… for that matter, is Vanpool? Kurashima’s been working on King story too, but otherwise no news for a while.
I’ve been wondering the same thing too, actually. Punchline’s website is still around (http://www.punch-line.org/) but hasn’t been updated since Rule Of Rose came out. I’ll have to do some digging and find out.
As for Vanpool, they’re definitely still around, but haven’t done much of note lately. Their last three games were all casual ‘training’ titles made for DS and published by Konami. The last update on their website claims that they became a limited company in April… though I must admit that I don’t really know what that means.
As we’ve seen with both Route24 and skip, however, the companies that sprang from Lovedelic are so small that they can only afford to make one game at a time, so we won’t always here anything from them unless they’re on the verge of releasing something. Keep the faith.
Ah, that’s right…. I remember seeing a Yoga Training game from Vanpool a little while back. I periodically check the Punchline site also, but there’s been no news for a while and I was wondering if you’d heard something elsewhere, is all.
I’m pretty jazzed about Little King’s Story at any rate. You?
