Attention, citizens of the Internet! Do not be fooled by the depressingly short-sighted cynicism of those bigger gaming news sites. They may have been the first to bring you US screenshots of LOL/Archime DS but their ignorant comments show that they really don’t have a clue.
“You could just do the same thing with scraps of paper”, says Kotaku’s Mike Fahey. “You’ll have to imagine most of the gameplay”, quips Ludwig Keitzmann of Joystiq. These are clearly the NONSENSE opinions of two people who have forgotten what it is like to have fun. I’m sure that once the entire world has embraced LOL, they will backpedal on those misguided comments but until then we’ll just have to put up with them.
The only good thing to come out this specialist media HATE CAMPAIGN is that I managed to see what Archime/LOL will look like when it is eventually released in English. Turns out it’ll be exactly the same! Who’d have thought it? Now all we need to see is whether they’ve messed up the glorious box art or not.
Oh and one more thing. Congratulations to IGN, who somehow managed to not have the WRONG opinion on this one. Maybe they were fighting back the urge to attack a game they didn’t understand. Or maybe they’re actually on the side of GOOD. Interesting…
