Like practically any other gamer worth their salt, my most anticpiated game of the now is Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii. Ever since I heard about the game I’ve been dreaming up a list of exactly which characters I’d like to see on the roster and Chibi-Robo has always been at the top of that list. Of course.
Now we know that he’s not a playable character but could he be an assist trophy? Some sources have indicated that this video on Nintendo’s website confirms Chibi’s appearance in the game, though I can’t get the video to play on my Mac so I’m not sure.
My US copy will ship tomorrow, however, so I should know fairly soon. And as soon as I do I’ll be sure to post a few screenshots here.
By the way, I just found the following cool sketches over on a blog called Nurdes. They were apparantly drawn by a guy called Algus on the Nintendo NSider forums and show what life might have been like if Chibi was a playable Smash Brother. Looks good to me, maybe they’ll make it in to the next game. If there ever is one.
