A Lack of Love - In more ways than one.
March 7, 2008 by imash
Sorry I haven’t posted much recently. I’d originally intended to have finished Lack Of Love and posted my full review by now but a few things have managed to get in my way. My birthday came and went, taking with it about a week of my life, and I’ve recently become addicted to the utterly wonderful Lost Odyssey.
I should be returning to Lack Of Love as soon as possible. In the meantime, how about a nice video? I recorded the folowing clip about half way through the game. It’s a lovely little animation that’s shown to you in order to explain why your planet is being interfered with. I love the way it communicates its message without words and the music is adorable.
Apologies for the quality of the clip - it’s camcorded straight from my TV set. ![]()

I saw this for the first time a few days ago… just finished LOL. How do you like the game?
It’s fantastic and apart from Chibi-Robo it’s the main reason I started this blog. I’ve never played a game like it before.
I really dig it too. It’s no exaggeration to say that I bought a Dreamcast from a pawn shop specifically to play it.
How often did you get stuck? I tried to play through helping every single animal, and had a few problems with zones 4 and 5 in particular.
Only a couple of times, though not for long as I broke down and used GameFAQs most of the time. Adventure games are no fun when they bottle-neck so I’m not too ashamed… I might have missed out on a lot of cool stuff if I’d just given in.
